The 2008 Event

The Cidel Charity Cup is an annual beach and watersports event and welcomed alternative to golf-based fundraisers. All monies raised are donated to charity by The Children First Trust.

In both 2006 (at Mannie's Suga Suga) and 2007 (at The Boatyard) the event featured a sailboat scavenger hunt and was very well received.

Thus far over $100, 000 Barbados dollars has been raised and donated to the Barbados Sailing Association, Cancer Support Services, the Because of Jenna Trust, the National Council on Substance Abuse , the Barbados Optimist Dinghy Association & Camp Aquarius.

The Cidel Charity Cup is a fantastic opportunity for residents, visitors and corporate citizens to contribute to one of the greatest causes - the support of needy and challenged children.

The Children First Trust encourages you to sponsor and/or participate in the 2008 Cidel Charity Cup. It's a wonderful feeling knowing you have helped a child in need.
